With a first appearance at FESPA Africa, Industrial Inkjet Ltd is attracting substantial interest from suppliers and customers planning to be at the show.

The inkjet technology pioneer, known as IIJ, will have banners, printed samples and videos for show visitors on its Stand G17, Hall 2, at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, from 22-24 July, 2015.

IIJ will be sharing the booth with its new strategic partner in Africa, Nipson, and Inkjet Technology Solutions, based in Durban, run by Pieter Le Grange. Le Grange and Nadina Hnatiw, IIJ market specialist for Africa, will be manning the booth at FESPA Africa.

'Printers I’ve already spoken to realise that IIJ’s inkjet systems, which include the latest Konica Minolta printheads, are not just adding important new functionality to newer systems, but are also so competitively priced that they could also go on to old web offset technology lines,' said Le Grange.

'There are massive opportunities in Africa for companies such as IIJ to develop, particularly as so many printers don’t have huge funds for investment in expensive systems but want to provide a wider range of services.'

John Corrall, Managing Director of IIJ, said: 'Since we announced two months ago our decision to expand into Africa following sales rises of 60% across the world in the last year, we’ve had considerable interest in our systems and expertise. We will be happy to talk at the show to anybody who wants more information on how printers can open up new revenue lines through inkjet, which will be an important growing market going forward.'

'The Africa market is ripe for introducing new technologies such as our industrial inkjet systems that are proving ever-more popular at an increasing number of sites across the world,' he added.

IIJ, which in addition to being an industrial inkjet pioneer, is also the official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta products outside of Asia.

It offers advice on any aspect of the use of inkjet technology in industrial applications. IIJ provides complete solutions for the successful design and implementation of Konica Minolta’s industrial printheads which are renowned for high print quality and reliability.
