Graphix Supply World (GSW) hosted an open house event at its Johannesburg office from 23-27 June. The company launched the new Eurotech Flatbed 2512 Pro at the event.
The Eurotech printer uses greyscale inkjet technology and offers 4-level greyscale printing. The high-precision honeycomb vacuum flatbed features sectional zones designed to accommodate various media sizes. It also includes an energy-efficient lower-power LED curing lamp to reduce power consumption.
A unique 3D printing function provides engraving capabilities. The printer’s original three-layer spot colour printing function can print colour, white, and colour simultaneously. This printer also offers professional application solutions for various materials, including glass art, acrylic, blister spray painting, wood boards, and desktops.
Aside from Eurotech products, which also included a Eurotech fabric cutter, as well as a Eurotech curer and shaker, there were a range of Mimaki printing solutions on display, some of which included:

A UV model for high image quality, high production, and application versatility.
TS330-1600
The sublimation transfer inkjet printer can achieve a printing speed of 69sqm/h in draft mode with a 4-colour ink set, with the fastest mode reaching up to 135sqm/h.
CJV150-130
Users get the highest quality prints with this printer and cutter solution, which allows them to create prints in various sizes, shapes and designs, from large, high-quality signage and vinyls to smaller stickers, promo items, vehicle wrapping films or other indoor and outdoor branding.
TX300P-1800 MKII
The evolved Mimaki Tx300P-1800 MkII now adds sublimation transfer printing to its capabilities, opening up a host of possible new materials and applications.
UJV100-160 Plus
The UV printer allows users to create the most beautiful, bright and colourful prints with white and clear ink.
JV100-160
The JV100-160 adopts the recently developed, fast drying eco solvent ink ‘AAS’, which reduces graininess and allows for fine details, even when printing images with high volumes of ink.
UJV55-320
The 3.2 metre roll-to-roll inkjet printer uses UV-curable ink, cured with a low-energy LED light array.

The super-wide solvent printer combines a high level of efficiency and low operational costs with a very competitive price for the hardware and inks.
The EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340i+ printer was also on display. The printer offers ultra-high resolutions up to 2400dpi and three-level greyscale printing with 7, 12 and 18 picolitre drop sizes. Its printheads optimise ink drops with no overlay for smooth transitions and perfect crispness.
