Graphix Supply World (GSW) exhibited a new range of Mimaki printers at the Sign Africa expo in Cape Town, which took place from 11-12 May 2016 at the CTICC.
The company revealed the Mimaki UJV55-320, Mimaki CJV150-130/160 and the Mimaki CJV300-160.
The Mimaki UJV55-320 is a 3.2m-wide LED-UV inkjet printer that offers high cost performance and expands your business. A combination of white and colour inks add value to transparent media print.
It can be used with UV-curable inks to form thicker ink films compared to other inks, which reduce light transmission through the coloured area, even with backlit signage, enabling finishing with vivid colouring. Moreover, white ink also enables three-layer printing with colour + white + colour. This feature ensures a beautiful colour reproduction for backlit signs at any time of day and night.
The Mimaki CJV150-130/160 and CJV300 Series are affordable high-performance, integrated printers/cutters. They provide high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink types, including new silver, Orange and Light Black, in a cost effective package for sign makers, display graphics professionals and print shops.
The series delivers:
• Fast printing speeds up to 56.2sqm per hour.
• High quality print resolution of up to 1440dpi.
• Four different printing widths: 80cm, 109cm, 136cm and 161cm.
• Choice of multiple solvent ink sets, including: ten-colour options (SS21) featuring; Silver, Orange, Light Black and White inks.
