Graficomp has expanded its reached by installing the Seychelles’ first Latex L26500 printer, assisting Andre Woodcock from Classic Design with setup and installation. Not even the threat of Tsunamis could deter Graficomp’s engineer Kevin Roy to make the journey to Mahe to spend a week at Classic Design, training the staff and ensuring that all was running smoothly before heading home.
Woodcock’s company focuses on advertising and advertising agencies need an outdoor printer that requires little maintenance and is both environmentally friendly (with its water based non- toxic inks) and user friendly (with the user replaceable print heads and low cost inks). Woodcock noted that the HP Designjet L26500 latex printer has saved him a lot of working space with its front loading media and saved him time with its instantly dry prints, allowing his lamination process to not be stalled by drying times. The installation was a great success and Graficomp looks forward to sending more printers out of Africa in the near future.
