Gawk Develops Hand Sanitiser Stands

Gawk has devised a method to help against the COVID-19 pandemic – the company has developed thousands of hand sanitiser stands.

‘We’ve got into a rhythm, and they are coming thick and fast. We have been asked to work through lockdown (with proper permission of course) to get these hand sanitiser stands out as fast as possible; lined up like soldiers, ready to combat this scourge. I can’t begin to express how proud I am of my team,’ said Gawk co-founder and director Sandro Corrado.

Raw material was ordered and some 30 tons of steel was converted by a team of fabricators working daily, until the early hours of the morning – all part of Gawk’s contribution to the fight against COVID-19. The stands receive a treatment of powder coating and final finishing.

Additionally, Corrado announced the launch of www.hygienecare.co.za, a website with products related to hygiene and healthcare. All these products are available with varying lead times depending on the product.
