Elitron showcased its advanced multi-function Kombo THC conveyor cutting system, equipped with two cutting heads, alongside its optional automatic Feeding and Unloading systems (EFS and ESS), designed to streamline production workflows.
The EFS and ESS systems are available in multiple widths and can be enhanced with the SDS Seeker System vision technology, which detects and aligns printed registration marks from the underside. This automatically eliminates the need for manual positioning and improves accuracy.
The system was showcased at FESPA Global Print Expo in Barcelona, from May 19–22.
‘Our goal is to help businesses unlock new levels of efficiency through intelligent automation,’ explained Elitron’s CEO Giuseppe Gallucci. ‘By integrating automated feeding and stacking into the production cycle, companies can significantly reduce downtime, optimise labour resources, and achieve faster turnaround times with consistent results.’
Elitron also presented the compact yet powerful SPARK Cutting System, engineered for precision and versatility across a wide range of applications. ‘SPARK is designed for businesses that need high performance in a smaller footprint,’ added Gallucci. ‘It delivers outstanding accuracy and flexibility, making it ideal for producing signage, displays, promotional items, and premium samples.’
Live demonstrations highlighted the systems’ ability to process both roll materials and rigid substrates using cutting and milling applications. Visitors had the opportunity to explore a variety of optional features.
Among the key innovations on display were Elitron’s advanced tooling options, such as V-Cut Plus for multi-angle and multi-material processing, and the patented DL45 tool, which enables single-pass 90° V-cutting for compact cardboard and honeycomb materials.
To further enhance workflow efficiency, Elitron demonstrated its patented Seeker System, an intelligent vision technology capable of identifying printed reference marks from both the top and underside, automatically aligning cutting files with precision.
Also featured was the company’s augmented reality-based Stressless Working Technology. Using high-powered video projection, this system supports rapid sampling, maximises material utilisation, and reduces waste, offering a highly practical solution for modern production environments.
Automation reaches its peak with the Kombo TAV-R cutting system, designed for fully automated pallet-to-pallet operation.
All systems are equipped with the Elitron Power Management System (EPMS), which optimises vacuum energy usage and can reduce consumption by up to 50%, contributing to both cost savings and environmental responsibility.
