Six years after Durst’s last visit, the company returned as an exhibitor to show off its expanded product portfolio at FESPA Mexico, held from 21-23 August 2014 in Mexico City.

Durst attracted great interest in its inkjet printing systems across multiple sectors and saw growing demand, especially for high performance solutions such as the Rho P10 HS series. The company’s stand featured the Rho P10-250 HS, which was sold to a Mexican print service provider off the stand at the trade show and will be installed on site during the next few days.

The response to its cooperation with cutter manufacturer Zünd was especially positive, as trade show visitors could see a presentation of the entire workflow, from printing to cutting, on the stand. The labelling and textile sectors were represented by product presentations and samples. Trade show visitors appeared to be impressed by the potential applications and performance of the Durst Kappa and Durst Tau systems.

The topic of textile printing was also a focal point at FESPA Mexico, where relevant print content and potential were demonstrated. Soft signage, digital clothing printing, household textiles and the digital workflow for textile design were covered. Durst is already planning to exhibit at FESPA Mexico next year.
