Canon Europe’s new TA Series has taken the best qualities from the advanced imagePROGRAF TX and TM Series, including the core Air Feeding System (AFS) technology, which keeps the paper flat so that the print heads can drop the ink precisely without rubbing against the paper.
This means users get a higher quality, more accurate image. The internal mechanics have been optimised to reduce operation noise, making them perfect for environments where sound needs to be kept to a minimum. Designed for a variety of business and public service environments, users can now produce small numbers of high-quality large format prints (imagePROGRAF TA-20 = 110 A1 pages per month or less and the imagePROGRAF TA-30 = 80 A0 pages per month or less). The new series comprises the 60.9cm (24 inch) TA-20 desktop and the 91.4cm (36 inch) TA-30 printer.
They are suitable for users who need an exact replica of technical drawings or architectural renderings and to maintain crisp lines and sharp text; vibrant graphics that wow the client when proofing; sales progress charts; eye-catching, glossy merchandise banners to encourage purchase in-store or stand-out teaching materials, timetables or ceremony banners for the classroom. You can even print for outdoor use.
James De Waal, Head of Marketing Business Imaging Group, Canon South Africa said, ‘We’re seeing increasing demand from the market for the ability to print CAD drawings on small construction sites, easily create posters in-house or print large images for a more interactive classroom experience. Our new imagePROGRAF TA Series is the answer to all these large format printing needs. The fundamental technologies of the imagePROGRAF family, such as the Air Feeding System and LUCIA TD ink, have been carried through to the new series, so you can produce professional quality materials and take advantage of the variety of output you can print in your workplace.’
