Caldera Announces Latest Update To RIP Software

CalderaRIP Version 18.1 brings over 20 new print drivers, better disk space management, and productivity tools exclusive to CalderaCare customers. The RIP now comes with tools that manage disk space to keep performance smooth and prevent costly stops in production.

This smart system helps users maintain efficient production by stopping disks from filling up and causing delays. Users can now import and export Hotfolder configurations across different workstations, making it easier to replicate setups without manual re-entry.

This improvement streamlines configuration sharing, saving valuable setup time in multi-user environments. On the other hand, the system now allows jobs started via the REST API to auto-delete after completion. This reduces manual cleanup and helps maintain optimal disk usage.

In addition to these enhancements, Version 18.1 significantly expands CalderaRIP’s compatibility by adding more than 20 new drivers to the installer, further broadening support for the latest printers and print technologies. New drivers include the latest Vutek, HP, Mimaki, swissQprint, Kornit and Epson models.

‘Version 18.1 continues our commitment to customer-centric development,’ said Arnaud Fabre, Head of Product at Caldera. ‘With new tools to ease configuration and automate job cleanup, we’re giving our users the ability to run more efficient, reliable workflows.’
