Roland DG South Africa has announced the VersaOBJECT MO-180 UV flatbed printer. The MO Series is engineered to deliver high productivity with print speeds up to approximately 1.4 times faster than comparable models. It features high-definition and high-speed digital printing.
Newly developed printheads and LED lamp technology, coupled with advanced software and inks, give users the power to reproduce small letters, fine textures, gradations, and colour-matched graphics with ease. Furthermore, Orange and Red inks extend achievable gamut, letting users create colours that previously could not be reproduced. Whether users need vibrant image reproduction, high-opacity white ink, or the ability to print textures, the MO Series UV printer is the answer.
The staggered printhead configuration, powerful lamps and increased bed-size gets more done. Denser white ink means one can print white twice as fast as previous models and Gloss ink can now be printed in thicker layers, doubling the speed. Improvements to the setup process make it easier to switch between products and jigs of items with ease. The included software also lets users unlock unprecedented productivity with multi-layer printing.
Roland DG’s EUV5 ink is renowned for its broad material compatibility and excellent adhesion. With just one ink formulation, users can print onto a variety of substrates, increasing their ability to adapt to changing market demands.
Roland DG’s solutions are designed for easy installation, set-up and operation. Users can confidently operate these professional devices with a quick learning curve thanks to the user-friendly touchscreen and intuitive VersaWorks 7 RIP software. Users can print up to 204mm as standard and unlock cylindrical items with an optional attachment.
