The Miura automatic cutting system has been installed at Elwi Srl, an Italian company founded on the vision of Stefano Mies and owner of the OMSTRIP brand. Before the introduction of Miura, patch cutting was performed manually, requiring a dedicated operator and significantly impacting time and costs.
‘We were working with manual cutting, which was extremely time-consuming,’ said Mies. ‘We immediately realised we needed an automated solution to support our growth.’
