The Zünd G3-L 2500 cutter is the latest addition to JOTA Composties’ equipment line-up. With these tools, JOTA Composites delivers a turnkey service across industries, handling everything from design for manufacture (DFM), pattern and mould creation, to component trimming, jig/fixture design, assembly, and full project management.
The company has invested in the digital cutting system to power its kit cutting services. Beyond the racetrack, JOTA Composites applies the same passion for precision to industries including automotive, defence, marine, and motorsport. From designing and manufacturing complex solutions to advancing cutting-edge technologies, the team is committed to excellence in all they do.
Operating from a brand-new facility in Carterton, West Oxfordshire, the company sits alongside JOTA Advanced Engineering and the celebrated JOTA Sport motorsport team – the latter currently marking its 25th anniversary with an outstanding record of 13 podium finishes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans over the past 12 years.
This investment marks a significant step forward as JOTA Composites continues to push the boundaries of engineering and manufacturing excellence. The facility features the latest advancements in composite manufacturing and automation technology, according to Managing Director Matt Cox.
‘It took over a year to bring JOTA Composites to life,’ said Cox. ‘Our investment in state-of-the-art technology ensures we consistently deliver accurate, high-quality results, on time and within budget’. He added, ‘Zünd is a well-known name in the composites industry, recognised for its precision, accuracy, longevity and reliability, so choosing to invest in a Zünd cutter was an easy decision. We have been really pleased with the support we received throughout the process, including demonstrations and training for our new staff.’
Reflecting on the recent Zünd installation, Phil Cross, Process Engineer at JOTA Composites, said, ‘One of the standout features of the Zünd system is the user-friendly software and intuitive interface. Our operators appreciate the simplicity of the software and the ability to quickly adapt and produce parts efficiently.’
