The Johannesburg branch of apparel branding business service Vic Bay recently invested in a Kornit Storm Hexa R series model through Rexx Screen and Digital Supplies. Vic Bay will be the first company in Africa to have purchased this particular machine.

‘I’m extremely pleased to have the only Kornit Storm Hexa DTG printer in Africa,’ said Vic Bay managing director Mike Shiller. ‘The machine’s revolutionary technology allows me to service the majority of my existing customers, who purchase blank shirts with a cost effective superior full colour digital print that is far better than traditional screen printing. It allows me to offer a full service to my customers looking for printed shirts.’

The Kornit Storm Hexa R series features an eco-friendly process and biodegradable ink that complies with the strictest industry standards. The series guarantees accelerated print speed, industrial digital textile printing technology and the affordability of the Storm platform. It is the perfect choice for small-to-medium sized businesses looking to scale up in full colour while keeping costs down.
