Labelexpo attendees were impressed with the Color-Logic technology showcased at the event, which took place from 9-11 September 2014.

The company demonstrated the power and value of digital presses with white ink, where several press vendors showed labels printed on metallic substrate using the Color-Logic process. Xeikon and Domino both printed Color-Logic labels live at the show to demonstrate the capability of their latest presses.  Durst, EFI Jetrion, and Screen also had Color-Logic samples available.

Discussing the success at Labelexpo 2014, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said, ‘Printers attending the show saw the striking special effects that can be created with the Color-Logic Design Suite. With our software, graphic designers or prepress personnel can do with one or two mouse clicks what now takes hours or days, quickly producing metallic label designs for their brand clients while eliminating the tedious task of creating white ink masks using traditional methods.’

Developed for brand managers, product managers, corporations and advertising agencies, the Process Metallic Colour System gives licensees the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients from the competition by simplifying the design and print production process and implementing eye-catching decorative effects into their branded products and associated collateral.

The Color-Logic system is compatible with offset, inkjet, flexography, digital presses, screen printing, and gravure processes. It is ideal for packaging, pouches, direct mail, point-of-purchase material, signage, post cards, literature, booklets, labels, shrink sleeves, calendars and much more.
