Midcomp will launch HP's new industrial HP Latex printers and Scitex FB750 Printer at the FESPA Africa and Sign Africa expo, taking place from 22-24 July at Gallagher Convention Centre.

HP LATEX 370

Designed for confident, unattended printing in high production PSP environments, the 163cm (64-inch) HP Latex 370 Printer with the new 3-litre cartridges helps keep running costs low. It prints from traditional signage substrates like vinyl and banners to temporary textiles, canvas and wallpapers, increasing margins and productivity via the ability to change cartridges while printing and maintaining the high quality at high speed, instant dry and scratch resistance benefits of the third generation of latex inks.

HP LATEX 3100

This printer is ideal for large sign and display PSPs with a diverse service offering. Printing indoor quality at speeds up to 77sqm/hr (830 ft 2/hr), the printer can handle peaks in production and deliver on short turnaround times without sacrificing quality. It is compatible with the HP Latex Mobile application, with expanded functionality including metrics reporting and extended language support. The new Printer Status Beacon also helps operators stay up-to-date on job statuses and unexpected downtime from anywhere on the production floor.

HP SCITEX FB750

The product enables PSPs to enter into rigid printing with a compact footprint and tabletop roll holder design for flexible substrates. With high uptime and automatic maintenance, HP Scitex Printers are proven robust, easy-to-use workhorses printing on both rigid and flexible media with a single device. The HP Scitex FB750 now offers a new tabletop roll holder design for flexible substrates enabling easy, fast and efficient short-run printing, and new tapered wheels for easy and safe media loading, preventing media edge damage.

Entrance to the expo is free. Pre-register online and attend the expo and you could win R1000 in cash.
