Fujifilm South Africa Installs Acuity LED 1600 II

Fujifilm South Africa installed an Acuity LED 1600 II at the Durban-based Solar Film Foundation (SFF) in March 2018, following a sale made at the Sign Africa Durban Expo in February.

‘At SFF we pride ourselves as being a forward thinking company,’ said sales manager Prasheen Latchmanpersad. ‘We are always looking out for new and innovative ways to help our customers grow their business.’

As a distributor of LG Hausys Sign and Graphics material, the company sought a printer that would enhance the quality of their sign writing media. From SFF’s research, the Acuity LED 1600 II met these requirements. With its hybrid design, LED print technology and service, SFF believes it got the best deal.

The company’s core business is the distribution of solar control window film and sign writing graphics. The printer allows SFF to show customers what can be done with a little imagination. From features such as spot vanishing to the ability to print multi-layers, customers are able to see what can be done on LG Hausys Sign and Graphics material.

The company stated that this level of awareness is good for the industry as a whole and hopefully, in time, will provide sustainable income to everyone using their products.

‘The service offered by Fujifilm South Africa far exceeded our expectations. Every detail was handled with great care and attention to detail. A special mention needs to be made to technicians Gabriel Naidoo and Calvin Pillay, who had spent weeks with us ensuring that our team was brought up to speed with the workings of the Acuity LED 1600 II,’ added Latchmanpersad.

Another plus was the after care service. ‘Here a special thanks needs to be made to Fujifilm South Africa’s sales and marketing coordinator Anja Kirton and graphics systems division – general manager Tomo Hemmi, who met with our marketing and sales team in Durban to ensure that they understood how to market and sell the services of the Acuity LED 1600 II. With continued support from Fujifilm, it will be easy to succeed with this printer,’ concluded Latchmanpersad.
