Dash Labels recently installed the Mimaki CJV150-130, purchased from Graphix Supply World.
Boyd Haley, General Manager, Dash Labels, said, ‘We wanted to diversify our product offerings to include wide format printing. A lot of our customers need short run labels and this machine allows us to do that for them. We can now also do banners, shop frontage decals, One Way Vision and domed labels. For a small investment, we get to offer a greater product variety. We may even diversify further into sublimation.’
Expanding into wide format has been a learning curve for the company, which was helped through the process by Graphix Supply World. ‘GSW offered onsite training for the machine and their technicians were quick to sort out any issues,’ said Haley.
The Mimaki CJV150-130/160 series are affordable high-performance, integrated printers/cutters. They provide high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink types, including new silver, Orange and Light Black, in a cost effective package for sign makers, display graphics professionals and print shops.
