Unique Wedding Ideas Using Vinyl Lettering

A bride's wedding day is a time that many little girls dream of and most mothers cry over. Every bride wants her wedding to be different from all others and one that gives memories to last forever. There are some wonderful ways to do this that are easy and inexpensive but show personalization around every corner.

There are many ways to make the wedding and reception completely unique and totally representative of you. Vinyl lettering is perfect for weddings and receptions. It is versatile, temporary, inexpensive, and completely customizable.

Every wedding has some sort of theme whether it is based on the music chosen or the love words spoken by the bride and groom. Take that theme and place it into wall words. Using your wedding colors and a really nice font, have this phrase created in vinyl. This wall decal can be installed above the door that all of your guests will come through. It can also be used on the wall directly behind the person performing the ceremony. Your friends and family will think you took hours to paint this on.

As a new bride you will want to show off your new last name. Wedding monograms are the best way to do this. Start off by placing your new monogram onto all of the champagne glasses. You can choose the silver, etched glass look. Just make sure to measure your glasses so you don't get the vinyl monogram too big. These vinyl monograms are so easy to apply that the bridesmaids will love to help.

Instead of using name cards for the reception tables, how about having everyone's' names created in an elegant vinyl that can be applied to the back of each seat. You won't have to worry about name cards getting moved. If you don't want to bother with everyone's seats, then just do it on the wedding party's chairs.

Most couples have little quotes that they say to each other often such as "I love you Sweetheart" or "Our love is forever". At the reception, you could have one wall full of these quotes. Choose various fonts, sizes, and colors to create your own wall word collage.

An alternative is to have your guests RSVP and include a thought about the upcoming union of the bride and groom. Take your favorite ones and have those done in vinyl lettering. Your guests will enjoy reading your wall words and trying to figure out who said which one.

That blank wall behind the cake always is an awkward spot that needs something but nothing ever seems to fit. Apply a large wedding monogram on the wall centered behind the cake. You can even put lighting on the floor that will highlight the monogram. Now when it is time to cut the cake, the photos will have a gorgeous background instead of a boring blank space.

The dance floor is where you and your guests will spend a lot of time after the wedding. Placing a huge vinyl monogram in the center of the dance floor would be amazing. You can even have an inspirational quote done in smaller lettering to encircle the wedding monogram. If you have a live band, get a wedding monogram to place on the base drum.

Remember that wedding wall words are temporary so you don't have to worry about permanent damage to your reception hall or wedding chapel. Everyone will enjoy the evening and wonder how you were able to personalize so many things at your reception.

Do you think the world will end this year?
Yes, and I'm planning to live like it's my last year on Earth!
No, all these doom prophecies are another Y2K farce.
Unsure: I'm skeptical, but stocking up my home-made bomb shelter just in case.
Of course, the aliens are going to take over Earth. Can't wait to be abducted again!
