Sellers often try to make huge profit in a fair. Wrong skills however will not bring as much profit as expected. In this article, I will tell how to boost your sales in a fair with easy to follow steps. By these steps, you can generate more income than you could expect.
In a fair, there could be more than ten stalls selling the same item that you sell. You need to have a good speaking skill in order to attract the consumer. However, in order to make this skill a success, you need to know your product really well. This is to gain the confident of the consumer toward your product and to buy the product after that. If you can not explain well to the consumer about the product, they will have doubtful feeling of buying it.
Lowest price is something that a consumer will always look in a fair. Some stall seller chooses to put the lowest price of an item on the last day of the fair. A measure that you could take is by putting the lowest price that you can on the first day of the fair. Sellers often think that customers will come back to their stall on the last day to get items on the lowest price. However, this could make you lose your customers if they choose to go and by the same product that you sell at the other stall which give the same item at a lower price before the last day of the fair. Thus, putting the lowest price from the beginning will ensure you to get more customers and more income instead of waiting till the end of the fair.
Another step that you could do is by trying to identify your customer. Identify here mean to know what they want, their budget, and whether they are from a low, middle or high income individual. This step will allow you to recommend the best product at the best price that is affordable by your customers. You can try to identify your customers status by looking at the brand of the shoes, t-shirt, sleeves, or whatever their outfit. Higher brand could mean that your customers have more budget to spend. This will allow you to get more profit by selling items to them.
The last step that you can do is to distribute as many flyers to as many customers that you can. The flyers can be about the price of the items that you are selling during the fair. Consumers will normally tend to survey the price of the item that they want at different stalls in a fair. By distributing flyers, even if they already pass all the stalls selling the same product with you, they could be getting back to your stall because the flyers will remind them about the price you offer as they do not normally remember the entire price in all the shop they have survey. This will increase your chance to boost your sales in a fair.
Try to follow these steps, and it is my guarantee that you will be able to boost your sales in a fair. A few other articles by me will soon follow this article for you to complete yourself with good skill and strategies to boost your sales no matter whatever business you are in.
