FESPA Africa And Sign Africa Johannesburg Expo Kicks Off This Week

Don't miss the FESPA Africa and Sign Africa expo, taking place from 7-9 September in Johannesburg at the Gallagher Convention Centre. 

Visitors to the expo can look forward to a diverse group of industry experts and leaders who will address various topics related to the wide format and digital printing industries. The educational programme on offer will explore different industry themes and topics from colour management and workflow, to garment printing workshops and vehicle wrapping, which will be shown live at the popular Speed Wrap Challenge. The programme will be filled with industry specialists and manufacturers covering technical know-how, trends and market opportunities.

Printing SA conference

This one day conference, taking place on 7 September 2016 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, will be your dedicated event to source the latest industry information, gain insights into market knowledge and be inspired by leading industry professionals. During this paid-for conference, you will also have free access to the FESPA Africa, Sign Africa and Africa Print expo, where you can see the latest technological solutions for wide format digital printing, screen printing, signage, textile printing, garment decoration and more. 3D Print Zone

Visit the 3D Print Zone in hall 2 and see how you can make customised promotional items, prototypes and more. Stand a chance to win a 3D printed sculpture by artist Allan Hallett. Everyone is welcome to participate. No booking is required. There is no cost.

Daily Debate Zone

There will be a daily debate discussion every day from 3-4pm opposite the FESPA and Printing SA booth. Everyone is welcome to participate. No booking is required. There is no cost.

Topic: What do Signage and Branding companies want from the Industry Association?

Did you know that you could become a FESPA member in South Africa? The reason is Printing SA is one of the 37 associations of FESPA. A panel made up of Printing SA and FESPA available to answer questions that digital printers and sign makers have aimed at the industry association.

T Shirt and Bag Print Zone

This garment feature will be a hands-on workshop where printers can learn different techniques to decorate garments. These comprise of heat transfers, direct-to-garment (DTG) and screen printing applications, including discharge and special effects, all taught by T shirt print guru, Jeff Moss. Come along and gain fantastic tips on how to take your garment decoration techniques to the next level.

This Zone is open to all visitors without reservation or cost.
